Abstract:

Reverse redistribution pattern is defined as decreased activity in the myocardium in the rest phase of the myocardial perfusion scan in comparison with the stress images. There are many studies concerning the etiology and clinical significant of this phenomenon in nuclear medicine literature. The dominant idea about etiology of reverse redistribution is early wash out of the radiotracer from the myocardium. There is rather unanimous agreement among researchers about viability of the areas of reverse redistribution and the majority of the studies point to existence of viable tissue in these regions. However from prognostic point of view, this issue is much more controversial. In this review, we tried to summarize the current literature and reach a guideline for practical significance of reverse redistribution in every day work of nuclear medicine specialists.

Abstract:

In this paper, a novel risk-based, two-objective (technical and economical) optimal reactive power dispatch method in a wind-integrated power system is proposed which is more consistent with operational criteria.  The technical objective includes the minimization of the new voltage instability risk index. The economical objective includes cost minimization of reactive power generation and active power loss. The proposed voltage instability risk employs a hybrid possibilistic (Delphi-Fuzzy)-probabilistic approach that takes into consideration the operator’s experience, the wind speed and demand forecast uncertainties when quantifying the risk index. The decision variables are the reactive power resources of the system. To solve the problem, the modified multi-objective particle swarm optimization algorithm with sine and cosine acceleration coefficients is utilized. The method is implemented on the modified IEEE 30-bus system. The proposed method is compared with those in the previously published literature, and the results confirm that the proposed risk index is better at estimating the voltage instability risk of the system, especially in cases with severe impact and low probability. In addition, according to the simulation results compared to typical security-based planning, the proposed risk-based planning may increase the security and economy of the system due to better utilization of system resources.

Abstract:

The behavior and relations of great powers are among the most important variables playing a role in the systemic dynamics of the international system. The present article focuses on two levels of systemic and sub-systemic analyses of the international system. This study will examine the following hypothesis: that in the international system where there are established and emerging great powers with considerable power discrepancy from other powers, economic, political, security and technological relations of all the other actors in the sub system with each great power depends on the relations and dynamics between the two great powers. The findings of this research demonstrate that the international system is in a redistributive state of power relations. In this context, relying on one or some theories in separate frameworks will not provide a proper understanding of the transition stage of current international politics. This research aims to achieve an eclectic theoretical model regarding the sub-systemic effects of the international system dynamics by juxtaposing the presumptions of neo-realism and neo-liberalism paradigms while drawing on the systems theory and subordinate systems.

Abstract:

The Gini coefficient is the most common index for measuring income inequality. Taxes are considered an important instrument for improving income distribution. Calculating the Gini coefficient based on after-tax income can provide a more accurate picture of income distribution and its impact. Increasing investment also requires saving, which is influenced by income distribution. In this study, the impact of relative redistribution on investment in selected OPEC countries between 2001 and 2021 is examined using a generalized method of moments. According to the findings, the relative redistribution index and income inequality have a negative and significant impact on investment. It can be concluded that taxes and transfer payments as instruments of income distribution can stimulate investment. The relative redistribution of the more equitable can lead to higher investment. Therefore, providing an appropriate measure of income inequality can contribute to a better understanding and formulation of efficient policies for social and economic aspects.

Abstract:

fair distribution of income is one of the most important macroeconomic goals of countries. Two different views are presented in relation to the impact of income inequality on economic growth by economic theorists. Many studies have been done in this regard which in some studies income inequality has positive effect on economic growth and others have negative effect. In most studies, the Gini index is used for income inequality which is based on income before tax deduction and forced payment. Since taxes as a tool to improve the income distribution situation, calculation of Gini coefficient based on income after mandatory payment and taxes can create a more accurate picture of income distribution and its consequences. Due to the effect of income redistribution on income inequality, the present study examines the effect of partial redistribution on economic growth by using the Iranian economy during 1978-2018 and using generalized method of moments ( GMM ). The results of the study show that the relative redistribution has significant effect on economic growth. Based on the results, indirect relationship between economic growth and economic growth is confirmed by relative redistribution index. The results of this study show that taxes and deferred payment are the driving force of economic growth. While on the basis of conventional GINI coefficient, income inequality causes an increase in economic growth. Therefore, providing a proper measure of income inequality will result in more accurate understanding of income inequality and codification of policy making in order to equal income.

Abstract:

In this paper, a new method for extending and relaxing the noise-coupling (NC) technique is proposed to enhance the noise-shaping order without adding the number of integrators. The noise-shaping order of the introduced ∑∆ modulator whit applying a second-order noise-coupling technique is enhanced and its performance with optimizing the noise transfer function (NTF) zeros is improved. Also, by removing the analog adder at feedforward path and transferring it to a new feedback branch before the last integrator and adding second-order NC path can be decreased the input voltage swing to the quantizer. Thus, by improving the modulator resolution, power consumption can be reduced. Mathematical analyses and behavioural simulation results confirm the effectiveness of the new NC method. To examine its performance, a 2nd-order single loop ΣΔ modulator was designed. The new noise-coupling method is used to achieve the three-order noise shaping to increase the resolution with low complexity and low-power. The results show an outstanding improvement in signal-to-noise and distortion ratio (SNDR) compared to the conventional structure.

Abstract:

Time-dependent creep stress redistribution analysis of thick-walled FGM spheres subjected to an internal pressure and a uniform temperature field is investigated. The material creep and mechanical properties through the radial graded direction are assumed to obey the simple power-law variation throughout the thickness. Total strains are assumed to be the sum of elastic, thermal and creep strains. Creep strains are time temperature and stress dependent.  Using equations of equilibrium, compatibility and stress-strain relations a differential equation, containing creep strains, for radial stress is obtained. Ignoring creep strains in this differential equation, a closed form solution for initial thermo-elastic stresses at zero time is presented. Initial thermo-elastic stresses are illustrated for different material properties. Using Prandtl-Reuss relation in conjunction with the above differential equation and the Norton’s law for the material uni-axial creep constitutive model, radial and tangential creep stress rates are obtained. These creep stress rates are containing integrals of effective stress and are evaluated numerically. Creep stress rates are plotted against dimensionless radius for different material properties. Using creep stress rates, stress redistributions are calculated iteratively using thermo-elastic stresses as initial values for stress redistributions. It has been found that radial stress redistributions are not significant for different material properties. However, major redistributions occur for tangential and effective stresses.
